NALO respects the privacy of people who use our products and services. This Privacy Policy explains what information NALO may collect, how we use it, when information may be processed by third parties, and the choices available to users.
This Privacy Policy applies generally to services operated by NALO, including services provided by NALO AI, such as Kyro, unless a specific service states otherwise.
By using NALO services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
The information NALO collects depends on which services and features you use.
When you create or use a NALO account, we may collect information including:
• Email address
• Display name or username
• User or account identifiers
• Account settings and preferences
• Account creation and login information
• Basic account activity
• Information necessary to provide account features
Authentication may be provided using third-party services such as Firebase Authentication.
When authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication, NALO does not receive or have access to your password.
When you use NALO services, we may automatically receive or generate technical and usage information such as:
• Features you use
• Requests made to our services
• Dates and times of activity
• Device and browser information
• Application or extension information
• Error and diagnostic information
• Security and abuse-prevention information
• IP addresses or similar network information where provided or processed by our infrastructure or service providers
We use this information to operate, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve NALO services.
NALO AI services, including Kyro, require information to be processed in order to generate responses and provide AI features.
Depending on the feature being used, this information may include:
• Messages and prompts
• AI-generated responses
• Uploaded files and attachments
• Images
• Information submitted through tools or integrations
• Conversation context and history
• Feedback submitted about AI responses
• Technical information necessary to process requests
Some conversations may be stored when features such as chat history, account synchronisation, memory, projects, or similar functionality are enabled.
NALO does not sell private AI conversation data for money or use private AI conversations for targeted advertising.
NALO AI may use third-party artificial intelligence providers to process requests and provide certain AI features.
These providers may include companies such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and xAI.
When a feature uses a third-party AI provider, information necessary to complete the request may be transmitted to that provider. This can include prompts, relevant conversation context, attachments, images, or other information required by the selected feature.
The information received by these providers may be subject to their own privacy policies, data-processing terms, retention practices, and contractual arrangements with NALO.
NALO may change, add, or remove AI providers as our services develop.
Users should avoid submitting highly sensitive personal information to AI services unless it is necessary.
NALO may provide feedback controls, such as thumbs-up or thumbs-down buttons, for AI-generated responses.
When you voluntarily submit feedback, NALO may receive and review information associated with that feedback. This may include the relevant message, AI response, conversation, or conversation history needed to understand the feedback.
Feedback information may be used to:
• Evaluate AI responses
• Diagnose problems
• Improve Kyro and other NALO AI systems
• Develop or evaluate NALO AI models
• Improve safety and moderation systems
• Test new features and model behaviour
Where feedback submission is optional, choosing not to provide feedback will not prevent normal use of the service unless stated otherwise.
Kyro and other NALO services may operate through third-party platforms such as Discord.
When you interact with Kyro through a third-party platform, NALO may receive information provided by that platform and information necessary to process your interaction.
For Discord interactions, this may include:
• Messages sent to or processed by Kyro
• AI-generated responses
• Discord user, server, channel, or message identifiers
• Commands and interactions
• Attachments submitted to Kyro
• Information required for moderation, security, debugging, and abuse prevention
Messages or interactions submitted to Kyro may be reviewed or used by NALO to evaluate, develop, train, or improve NALO AI systems where permitted by applicable law and platform requirements.
Your use of third-party platforms is also subject to the privacy policies and terms of those platforms.
NALO may provide browser extensions for browsers such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
Depending on the permissions you grant and the features you choose to use, a NALO browser extension may be able to access information from the browser or webpage necessary to perform a requested feature.
For example, when you explicitly use a feature that captures, summarises, analyses, or sends webpage content to Kyro, the relevant webpage content may be transmitted to NALO AI and, where necessary, our AI providers.
Browser extensions may also use local browser storage for settings, authentication information, preferences, or other functionality.
Installing a NALO extension does not automatically mean NALO receives everything you do in your browser. Information is accessed according to the extension's permissions, functionality, and actions you perform.
The permissions requested by an extension may change as features are added or modified.
The NALO Search Chrome Extension is separate from NALO AI and Kyro. It is designed to provide a Chrome new tab experience, saved site shortcuts, and web search access.
The extension may store the following information locally in the user's browser using local storage:
• Saved shortcut names and URLs
• Shortcut order
• Compact or expanded view preferences
• Theme preferences and other extension settings
This information is stored locally in the browser and is not automatically sent to NALO unless the user performs an action that sends information to NALO services.
When a user enters a search query, the extension may send that query to NALO's search service in order to provide results. If the user opens Kyro AI through the extension, relevant requests or content may be transmitted to NALO services and, where needed, third-party service providers used to operate those features.
The extension may access site icons or favicons needed to display saved shortcuts. It does not intentionally collect the contents of unrelated webpages unless the user explicitly uses a feature that requires it.
Users can remove saved shortcuts, change extension settings, or clear extension data through their browser settings.
Kyro AI may be distributed as an Android application through Google Play. The Android app provides access to Kyro AI and related NALO services through an app experience connected to NALO's web services.
When users install or use the Kyro AI Android app, Google Play, Android, device manufacturers, browsers, and related service providers may process information needed for app distribution, installation, updates, security, diagnostics, crash reporting, device compatibility, and abuse prevention.
The Kyro AI Android app may use the same NALO account, Firebase Authentication, cloud storage, AI processing, chat history, feedback, safety, advertising, and service-provider practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information handled by Google Play or Android may also be subject to Google's own privacy policies and terms.
When you upload a file, image, document, or other attachment to a NALO service, it may be stored or temporarily processed so that the requested feature can operate.
Attachments submitted to AI features may also be transmitted to an AI provider when necessary to process the request.
Users should not upload information they do not have permission to provide.
NALO may use automated systems and human review to detect:
• Violations of our Terms of Service
• Abuse or misuse of NALO services
• Spam or malicious activity
• Security threats
• Content presenting significant safety concerns
NALO may use automated AI moderation and safety systems as part of this process.
Automated systems may flag content for further action. Where appropriate, NALO team members may review flagged activity before enforcement decisions are made.
Some serious security, safety, or legal situations may require information to be preserved or reviewed.
NALO may use collected information to:
• Provide and operate our services
• Generate AI responses
• Maintain accounts and chat history
• Provide requested tools and features
• Improve NALO and NALO AI

NALO does not sell private AI conversation data for money.

NALO does not directly receive users' passwords or private Kyro conversations through advertising systems.
Advertising features and providers may vary between NALO services.
NALO services and third-party providers used by NALO may use cookies, browser storage, application storage, or similar technologies.
These technologies may be used for:
• Authentication
• Maintaining sessions
• Saving preferences
• Remembering settings
• Security

Different types of information may be retained for different periods depending on why the information is required.
NALO may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

Deleting an account may not cause every copy of information to disappear immediately. Information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, security systems, or systems operated by service providers.

Deletion of an account may permanently remove access to associated information, including saved conversations, Kyro chats, account settings, user content, and other account content.
Some information may be retained where required or permitted for security, legal, fraud-prevention, backup, abuse-prevention, or enforcement purposes.
NALO uses reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
However, no online service, database, or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for protecting access to their accounts and devices.
NALO and its service providers may process information using servers located outside your country.
This means information may be transferred to or processed in other countries where our infrastructure, AI providers, advertising providers, or other service providers operate.
Some NALO services may have minimum age requirements described in our Terms of Service or required by applicable law.
Users who do not meet the applicable minimum age requirements must not use services that are restricted to older users.
Where required, NALO may take steps to remove accounts or information belonging to users who are not permitted to use a service.
NALO may access, preserve, or disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or a valid legal request, protect the rights or safety of users or others, investigate abuse, or protect NALO and its services.
Depending on the service, users may be able to:
• Delete conversations
• Delete their NALO account
• Choose whether to submit AI feedback
• Control certain browser-extension permissions
• Choose what information they send to Kyro
• Manage certain account and privacy settings
• Manage certain advertising or cookie preferences through their browser or relevant third-party provider
Additional controls may become available as NALO services develop.
NALO services change over time, and this Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect new features, technologies, providers, legal requirements, or data practices.
When significant changes are made, NALO may provide notice through its website, applications, services, or other appropriate channels.
